Volunteer for Ralston Music Boosters

Volunteer and give back to our wonderful music program!

THANK YOU to parents who have stepped up to volunteer for Ralston Music Boosters next year.  We can always use more help and there are still several spots on our music booster steering committee.  The time commitment is minimal and most roles can be done from home.  In addition, you get to work with our wonderful music teachers and Ralston students!  See details below and please contact Clarissa Naftzger at ralston2musicboosters@gmail.com if you need more info or would like to join the Music Booster team.

AND there are several one-time projects that the music teachers would appreciate help from parents to complete.  Ms. Webster and Mr. Thielen have been wanting to get these projects done for a while, and we need parent help and expertise.  Thanks in advance!

SchoolForce fundsĀ 100% of music program needs!

Thanks to full support from SchoolForce (BRSSD’s Education Foundation), Ralston Music Boosters is no longer a fundraising organization.  That means no fall cookie dough or gift wrap/gift sales as in years' past!  Music Boosters will continue to offer a snack bar at Ralston's winter and spring concerts. Our music program would not be what it is today without support from SchoolForce.  Please be sure to include SchoolForce in your budgeting plan for a donation sometime before June 30! THANK YOU to SchoolForce! (www.schoolforce.org)

Ralston Music Boosters

Are you new to Ralston's music program and want to get involved and learn more?  Ralston’s music program is run by two wonderful teachers, Ms. Webster and Mr. Thielen, with additional help from Ms. Alison Kim who teaches one of the two choral classes.  The Music Boosters is a group of parent volunteers that provides support and organization to Ralston’s music program and works closely with the music teachers and SchoolForce on the financial needs of the program.  This support includes instrument rental coordination, uniform fitting and distribution (for over 260 7th and 8th grade students), and funding coordination for sheet music and critical items such as new instruments, cases and instrument repairs.
