Youth Pass Information

Youth Monthly passes on Clipper require an application submission and identification verification process by a SamTrans representative in order to be issued. Clipper Youth applications can be obtained by visiting www.samtrans.com/clipper.

All SamTrans routes will have adjustments effective Jan. 26, 2014.  The changes include increasing how often a bus runs, realigning routes, adding and eliminating routes, and introducing two alternative routes as part of a one-year pilot program.For a complete summary of all route changes and alternative service, visit www.samtrans.com/upcomingchanges.  Rider’s Digest and updated timetables for Jan. 26. 2014 changes are available online.

Please remember that all SamTrans routes are changing Jan. 26 and there’s a new route serving your school (Route 67).

Routes that operate only on school days will have their times changed Please note that two routes, 260 and 67, will serve Ralston starting Mon., Jan. 27 and to go to www.samtrans.com/upcomingchanges for the most recent schedule.

Bus Privileges

SamTrans is a public service provided to the students.  It is a privilege to ride the bus, not a right.

When riding SamTrans buses or school field trip buses, students must not engage in behavior that is unsafe, distracting or disruptive.  The safety of all passengers is of utmost importance.  All students are to observe the following rules:

·       Line up, enter and leave the bus in an orderly manner.

·       Remain seated while riding the bus.

·       Speak in a conversational tone, without profanity and excessive noise. Do not deface or damage the bus.

·       Do not eat or drink on the bus.

Violations of the rules may result in loss of bus-riding privileges.
