In this class you will:

  • Learn to use the Metric System 
  • Discover how density explains many phenomena that we observe in nature
  • Be able to recognize the difference between Potential and Kinetic Energy in your environment
  • Conduct extensive labs in order to determine the different ways in which Heat & Energy are transferred
  • Demonstrate how Heat & Energy are exchanged between Earth's four systems
  • Discover the factors that influence our Weather and Climate 
  • Discover the science behind Global Warming & Climate Change
  • Use your knowledge of renewable resources in order to create energy without the use of fossil fuels
  • Discover the difference between plant & animal cells 
  • Determine how environmental and genetic factors influence the growth of organisms
