Welcome to 7th Grade Science

The beginning of the year is an exciting time for both students and teachers.  For me, I am excited to start my 31st year in education; the last 23 have been here at Ralston as a 7th Grade Science Teacher.  Before Ralston, I worked as a Science Resource teacher at an inner-city school in the LA Unified School District.  I am a Belmont kid, I grew up in the Hallmark area and attended Fox Elementary School, Ralston (then called Ralston Jr High School), and finally Carlmont, class of '78.

My advanced education took place at Humboldt State University, where I received a BA in Liberal Studies and my teaching credential.  I believe lifelong learning is an essential part of education, and within the last couple years I have taken classes at CSM in Astronomy, Physics, General Chemistry and Biology.  I am looking forward to completing an Organic Chemistry class this spring.
