Alisha Ferrario

Mrs. Ferrario A LOT, despite appearances
Trying My Best...But Losing By A LOT

Alisha Ferrario is a Bay Area native and middle daughter of two educators, thus choosing to be a Liberal Studies major and History minor at Loyola Marymount University was a natural and easy decision.  She graduated in four years with her teaching credential and first teaching job was summer school with her now mother-in-law!  Mrs. Ferrario has taught a total of 16 years in San Bruno Park, Millbrae Elementary, Los Altos, and Belmont-Redwood Shores school districts in sixth and seventh grades.  A self-described, former bad math student - Alisha marvels every day that she swapped her passion of ancient history and literature for numbers and word problems, but she is immensely proud that she turned a one-time struggle into a new passion.  Mrs. Ferrario looks forward to being a part of her students' educational journeys and hopes to help them discover new skills and strengthen current talents.  When Alisha isn't teaching, she enjoys reading, swimming, kickboxing, and watching favorite cable and Netflix series.  She lives in San Mateo with her husband, 2nd-grade son, and twin toddler daughters, Siena and Gemma.

“It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer” - Albert Einstein
